At the Saudi Commission for Health Specialties (SCFHS) Graduation Ceremony 2025 in Riyadh, around 8,000 graduates celebrated the transition into their professional lives. Across the stadium seating, 15,000 EnjoyGalaxy wireless pixel lights made the audience part of the story, connecting live music, theatrical performance and large-scale visuals in a shared celebration.
A Ceremony About the People in the Stands
Commissioned by SCFHS and delivered by ADD Enterprise, the ceremony was developed around the graduates’ move from study into healthcare practice. Creative lead Dreamed.by.us brought together live opera vocals, rock music and multimedia staging to explore the responsibility, integrity and care at the heart of that transition.
In their account of the creative process, show designer and director Olivier Ferracci and scriptwriter and stage director Nora Matthey de l’Endroit explained that audience involvement was part of the concept from the beginning. Soloists and chorus members represented professions within the Commission, wearing uniforms the graduates would recognise from their own future careers. Extending the performance into the stands connected those characters with the people they represented.
When the Story Reaches the Audience
One sequence made that connection particularly tangible. The idea of a virus was visualised as something spreading from the stage into the audience. Light and movement carried its presence through the stadium, drawing the graduates into the tension of the narrative before the scene resolved into a more uplifting, collective energy.
The EnjoyGalaxy audience display gave this movement a surface across the stands. The story could travel beyond the performance area and unfold among the people watching, making their seating part of the action.
Connecting the Pitch, the Stands and the Sky
The creative team used the audience lights to establish continuity between the pitch and the grandstands, linking the performance with projection, overhead screens, lighting, lasers and drones. Each visual layer had its own role, with moments of emphasis chosen to support the characters and music.
That balance was central to the design. Sometimes the focus belonged to a soloist, sometimes to the choir, and sometimes to the wider stadium image. The audience lighting helped extend the emotion of those moments into the crowd while remaining part of the overall composition.
Turning Creative Intent into a Coherent Picture
Content was adapted to the audience display’s resolution and refresh rate, then refined on site. The teams calibrated the different visual sources against one another, adjusting brightness and intensity so that the audience lights, floor projections and overhead screens could work together.
According to the creative team, wireless deployment also made installation faster and more flexible, reducing the need for cabling across the seating and leaving more time to refine the effects during rehearsals. EnjoyGalaxy’s role combined the audience lighting system with the practical programming work needed to translate the creative vision into the stadium.
A Shared Moment of Pride
The directors described a strong sense of engagement and pride among the graduates. Becoming part of the show strengthened the connection between the stage and the audience, giving the celebration a personal significance beyond the scale of its visual effects.
For Enjoy Tech, the project demonstrated how wireless audience lighting can support a story rooted in the people attending. At SCFHS Graduation 2025, the graduates helped form the imagery celebrating their own achievement and the responsibilities ahead.
