10,000 Apollo Lights Turn the Audience into a Giant Video Screen at the Hainan Provincial Games
2026年9月7日Built for Long Rehearsals, Live Broadcasts and Last-Minute Changes
At Kuaishou Summer Gala – Glory Night, 7,000 EnjoyGalaxy wireless LED pixel balls transformed the arena audience into a giant screen. With six days of rehearsals leading up to a 12-hour live broadcast, the production put battery endurance, programming capacity and the ability to revise lighting effects quickly to the test.
- 7,000 wireless LED pixel balls formed a synchronised audience screen.
- 6 days of rehearsals and a 12-hour live broadcast.
- 58 programmes, each with multiple lighting sequences.
- 100+ livestream hosts on the red carpet, each with different visuals.
Battery Endurance for a Demanding Schedule
For a production of this length, battery endurance was a central operational concern. The lights had to support extended use, while the team also needed to account for rehearsal time and the demands of the broadcast itself.
Across 7,000 wireless devices, power planning matters at scale. EnjoyGalaxy’s battery endurance helped the team meet the demands of long working sessions and keep the audience display ready for the production schedule.
Six Days of Rehearsals, with Room to Refine
Six days of rehearsals gave the team repeated opportunities to review the audience lighting alongside the performance. They also demanded a flexible programming workflow: effects needed to be adjusted, checked and refined as the show developed.
The ability to revise lighting sequences promptly helped the team respond to creative feedback and carry those changes into the next rehearsal. For a show with so much content, speed of revision was as important as the range of effects available.
58 Programmes and 100+ Individual Red-Carpet Looks
The gala featured 58 programmes with multiple lighting sequences, alongside red-carpet appearances by more than 100 livestream hosts, each with different visuals. This called for a broad visual repertoire and careful organisation of the programmed content.
From one appearance to the next, the audience screen needed to change with the show. Thousands of wireless pixels worked together as one synchronised display, giving each segment its own visual identity while connecting the stands to the stage.
Ready for a 12-Hour Live Broadcast
A live broadcast puts every transition on a deadline. Over 12 hours, the production needed the audience lighting to keep pace with successive performances and changing visual requirements. Battery endurance, prepared sequences and the ability to update effects promptly all played a part in supporting that workflow.
At Kuaishou Summer Gala – Glory Night, EnjoyGalaxy brought these capabilities together in a giant wireless audience screen, making the crowd part of the visual experience throughout a demanding live event.
